Annie Lane

Co-Founder of Stand Up Guys and President of Annie Lane Enterprise

After 23 years of a successful career in Telecommunications, Ms. Lane left the corporate world to dedicate her time and talents to work full time toward ending violence against women and children in her community. Embodying the words of Sir Winston Churchill, “we make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. We are all in this life together, dependent on one another. We know that when we give, there is no sacrifice, it is all our gain.”

Ms. Lane is responsible for building an infrastructure to support Stand Up Guys mission including recruiting a board of directors and leading and establishing executive committees, engaging a consultant to facilitate and assist in developing 3 year Strategic Plan. Ms. Lane conducts community outreach and engages community leaders, corporate sponsors, and public and private organizations, fosters collaborative partnerships and raises awareness at events through her engaging presentations, as well as delivering formalized training programs throughout the community.

 As a survivor of domestic violence, working to raise awareness of domestic and sexual violence and furthering the mission and vision of Stand Up Guys has become her life work. With the loving support and blessing of her husband, Jim, Ms. Lane is a tireless supporter of Men and Women working together as allies to end violence against women and children.
